With Super Bowl LIX well in our rearview mirror, it's officially mock-draft season around the entire league. It's been that way for a while for the Tennessee Titans, who clinched the No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft after finishing the 2024 campaign with an NFL-worst 3-14 record.

New general manager Mike Borgonzi has a difficult decision to make at the top of April's festivities. The 2025 NFL Draft lacks a straightforward choice at No. 1 overall. One potential scenario sees the Titans choose a quarterback to replace struggling signal caller Will Levis with. Miami's Cam Ward and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders are considered the top overall quarterback prospects available.

Pro Football Focus offers fans an opportunity to live-out their offseason dreams via their mock draft simulator. PFF recently wrote an article releasing which prospect is the most-picked player in their simulator. For the Titans, it's Ward.

Titans fans are drafting Cam Ward in Pro Football Focus' Mock Draft Simulator

"Appreciating Ward — an unorthodox, big-game quarterback — requires a leap of faith," PFF wrote. "He is ultra-confident, at times to a fault. His mentality could one day make him an All-Pro — that is, if his fundamentals don't drop him from the league entirely."

That will appease Ward, who recently sent a crystal clear message to the Titans stating they should draft him.

It's easy to understand why a large portion of Tennessee's fanbase is enamored with Ward. The Hurricanes standout threw for 4,313 yards, 39 touchdowns, and seven interceptions this past campaign. Ward appears to be establishing himself as the consensus No. 1 QB available in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The NFL Free Agency period occurs roughly six weeks before the draft and will deliver more clarity regarding what the Titans are thinking at quarterback. If they pursue and sign a veteran quarterback like Aaron Rodgers or Sam Darnold, they're likely not drafting a quarterback at No. 1 overall.

If the Titans opt for a mid-tier quarterback like Kirk Cousins or Derek Carr (who may not even be available), then drafting Ward may still be under consideration by Borgonzi. And of course, if the Titans do nothing at quarterback in free agency, it'll signal they're almost certain to draft Ward or Sanders at No. 1 overall.

Ward is a divisive prospect among Titans fans. Indications are the larger consensus is selecting him in mock-draft scenarios. We'll see if the Titans feel the same.
