The Tennessee Titans are expected to draft Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. If that projection becomes reality, general manager Mike Borgonzi must quickly shift attention to landing a wide receiver to pair with his new dynamic franchise quarterback. That's exactly what happens in Chad Reuter's new four-round 2025 NFL mock draft.
Reuter first has the Titans selecting Ward at No. 1 overall.
"Ward's been my top pick for the Titans since they secured the No. 1 overall selection because elite quarterback play is required to make it through the AFC gauntlet," Reuter wrote. "His four-plus years of starting experience at Incarnate Word, Washington State and Miami are a major asset, as are his playmaking ability and toughness."

Reuter then wisely has the Titans selecting Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden III at No. 35 overall. Burden is a borderline first-round prospect who may be available during the early portion of the second round. He's elite athletically, having ran a 4.41-second 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine with a 1.54 10-yard split.
The Titans lack depth and production at wide receiver behind Calvin Ridley. As things stand, free-agent signing Van Jefferson and sophomore undrafted free agent Bryce Oliver are being miscast as starting pass catchers opposite Ridley. Burden would represent a significant upgrade after producing 61 receptions for 676 receiving yards and six touchdowns at Missouri this past season.
The Titans do not have a third-round pick. In the fourth round, Reuter has the Titans selecting Syracuse defensive end Fadil Diggs, and Western Michigan cornerback Bilhal Kone. The scouting staff saw Diggs at this year's East-West Shrine Bowl, and Kone at the Senior Bowl.
Diggs recorded a career-high 7.5 sacks in 2024 after transferring to Syracuse from Texas A&M. The Titans need to address defensive end via the draft after Dennard Wilson's unit recorded the third-fewest sacks in the league last season. A starting-caliber player is required next to free-agent addition Dre'Mont Jones and Arden Key.
Depth corner is a need following Chido Awuzie's release. L'Jarius Sneed and Jarvis Brownlee Jr. are now positioned as the boundary corner starters in 2025. The 6-foot-1, 190 pound Kone would compete for playing time after running a 4.43 at the NFL Combine.
If the Titans are drafting Ward at No. 1 overall, surrounding him with weapons is of the utmost importance. Reuter's four-round mock draft achieves that by pairing the franchise quarterback with Burden.
