The Tennessee Titans are set to have a new stadium venue, with the new Nissan Stadium slated to open in 2027. The new 60,000-seat venue is going to be the permanent home of the Titans and it seems like the NFL wants to present it on the biggest stage.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport revealed that NFL owners are projected to vote at Tuesday's Spring League Meeting that Nashville should host Super Bowl LXIV in 2030. This would be the first time that Tennessee hosts the Super Bowl and it would roll out the red carpet for the ideal Cam Ward scenario.

With that being four seasons down the line, it puts the Titans in a place to host a Super Bowl matchup in their home stadium. And if Ward develops and becomes the quarterback people in Tennessee think he could be, he'll have the chance to lead the Titans in the biggest game in front of their fans. But at the same time, the Titans' rebuild must be done by then.

Titans could have a chance to play and host Super Bowl LXIV, but need rebuild to be done

The Titans have flipped over the front office and coaching staff in the last two years. Tennessee made Mike Borgonzi the general manager in 2025 before making Robert Saleh the head coach this offseason.

This is Borgonzi's first time sitting in the GM chair but he spent 15 years with the Kansas City Chiefs, holding various roles from scouting to assistant GM. While he was there, he saw what it takes to build a winner, where the Chiefs won three Super Bowls and made five appearances.

As for Saleh, fans are excited to have him on the sideline. Although he went 20-36 as the head coach with the New York Jets, Saleh had plenty of success with the San Francisco 49ers. He consistently had that unit playing at the top of the league and completely turned out New York's defense while he was there too.

You are hoping that he learned from his mistakes there and changes things with the Titans. With Saleh and Borgonzi leading the charge, they will have the tools to turn this ship around. This roster has some nice young pieces, led by Ward. Having a franchise quarterback is what takes teams to that next level and there has to be hope that Ward can get there one day.

Ward may not be there yet, but the Titans made it a priority to add talent around him. In free agency, they signed Wan'Dale Robinson before drafting Carnell Tate and Nicholas Singleton. The Titans also made Brian Daboll the offensive coordinator and he's had success with developing quarterbacks in college and the NFL.

Hopefully he can continue the progress with Ward, along with more talent being added to the roster. The next few years will be massive for the outlook on the team's future and with the Super Bowl expected to be in Nashville for 2030, the Titans need to be out of their rebuild by then and have a shot at competing for a title, especially in their home stadium.
