The Tennessee Titans revealed their complete 2026 season schedule in a league-wide coordinated effort on Thursday evening. New head coach Robert Saleh has quite the revenge-game opportunity in Week 1. The Titans will begin their campaign by taking on Saleh's former team, the New York Jets.
The Titans will travel the 14th-fewest miles of any NFL team this season. The early portion of Tennessee's schedule is rather favorable. The Jets matched the Titans' 3-14 record during the 2025 campaign, making it a winnable opening matchup for Saleh against an organization that's regressed since firing him.
Following the Jets showdown, the Titans will host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2. That qualifies as the most difficult matchup on the early portion of the Titans' schedule. With the New York Giants slated for Week 3 and Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, Coach Saleh possesses a swift pathway to revive the rebuilding Titans.
Tennessee Titans 2026 schedule: Favorable start has HC Robert Saleh licking his chops
The Eagles are an interesting Week 2 matchup. They somehow looked disappointing while finishing 11-6 in 2025 and lost a home wild-card playoff contest to the San Francisco 49ers. The Eagles are expected to trade former Titans receiver AJ Brown in June, further weakening a roster that may be in transition.
Saleh and the Titans then get the Giants in Week 3 in a matchup that is also littered with revenge-game storylines. Saleh's offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has certainly circled that one. The Giants have former Titans coaches Dennard Wilson and Brian Callahan on the staff of John Harbaugh, who Tennessee briefly pursued for their opening before hiring Saleh.
The Giants went 4-13 throughout the 2025 campaign. Between Weeks 1 and 3, the Titans will play both East Rutherford-based clubs that were formerly coached by Saleh and Daboll. They also went a combined 7-27 last season.
The Ravens are a complicated Week 4 matchup. They went 8-9 in 2025 and disappointingly missed the playoffs by losing a win-and-in Week 18 scenario to the rather average Pittsburgh Steelers. They still have Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, but they also have a new coaching staff after firing Harbaugh and hiring former assistant Jesse Minter.
The Jets and Giants qualify as winnable matchups for the Titans in Weeks 1 and 3. The Eagles and Ravens fell short of expectations throughout 2025 and are potential regression candidates in 2026. Coach Saleh possesses an opportunity to get the Titans off to a surprising start.
