The Tennessee Titans made nine total selections during the 2025 NFL Draft. It started by landing new franchise quarterback Cam Ward at No. 1 overall. From there, general manager Mike Borgonzi continued adding depth and future starters all throughout the draft.
ESPN's Field Yates recently revealed his favorite selections from each round, singling out 35 total picks. Three of Tennessee's additions made Yates' list, starting with third-round safety Kevin Winston.
ESPN highlights three Tennessee Titans 2025 NFL Draft additions
"It's impossible to state precisely where Winston would have been drafted if he didn't tear an ACL in September, but it definitely would've been sooner than this," Yates wrote. "The 6-foot-2, 205-pound safety has undergone a fast recovery. Just six months after his ACL repair surgery, Winston ran a 4.5 in the 40-yard dash at Penn State's pro day. He appears to be on track as an early contributor for Tennessee."
The Titans won't place immediate pressure on Winston as he continues fully recovering from an ACL tear. Amani Hooker and veteran free-agent signing Xavier Woods are penciled in as the starters at safety. With both of their long-term futures in question, Winston can play a rotational role as a rookie while potentially preparing to be a starter as a sophomore.
From there, Yates shifted attention to the third and final of Tennessee's fourth-round picks, Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor.
"Tennessee added three pass catchers for No. 1 pick Cam Ward early on Day 3, but Ayomanor was my favorite pick of them all," Yates continued. "I had a third-round grade on him because he has one of the best combinations of size and speed in this receiver class. His ability to separate at the top of routes downfield pairs well with Ward, who threw 12 touchdown passes and zero interceptions on throws of 20-plus air yards in 2024."
Ayomanor's combination of size and speed could quickly help him capture reps in Brian Callahan's offense. Ward will be searching for a go-to receiver he can grow and develop with. It wouldn't be shocking if Ayomanor or fellow fourth-round receiver Chimere Dike became that player.
Borgonzi's work wasn't done once when the 2025 NFL Draft concluded. The Titans arguably made the biggest undrafted free agent addition of any team when they landed former Miami Hurricanes receiver, and Ward's go-to target, Xavier Restrepo. Yates choose just one UDFA to highlight, singling Restrepo out.
"I had affinity for Restrepo though his draft stock plummeted after a 40-yard dash of around 4.8 seconds at Miami's pro day," Yates said. "But what he lacks in top-end physical tools, he makes up for in route running, consistency, play strength and clutch production. Now, he's reuniting with his college quarterback in Tennessee. Ward helped Restrepo become Miami's all-time leading receiver in receptions and yards this past season."
The Titans landed quality all throughout the 2025 NFL Draft.
