The Tennessee Titans are more than a week-and-a-half into training camp. Padded practices began on Monday. Winners and losers are beginning to emerge from Titans offseason practices, including members of the 2026 NFL Draft rookie class.
A massive week looms ahead. The Titans recently held their Blue & White Stadium Scrimmage. A joint practice is scheduled with the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara, California, on August 11. Two days later on August 13, the Titans will meet the 49ers for the preseason opener.

Carnell Tate, WR
Expectations are naturally sky-high for the No. 4 overall pick. All indications are that wide receiver Carnell Tate is meeting them. Starting quarterback Cam Ward has been spreading the ball around to a plethora of weapons at practice, but Tate has been consistently involved. He caught a viral touchdown at camp's first practice, and has since stayed impactful. The arrow is pointing up.

Keldric Faulk, DE
Defensive end Keldric Faulk has spent camp acclimating to Coach Saleh's attack-style defense. It's an aggressive system that relies on instincts and intent as opposed to a read-and-react defense. Faulk is getting used to his rules and assignments, but his size and length have made occasional appearances at camp. The Titans appear pleased with his offseason progress. Verdict: Stock Up
Anthony Hill Jr., LB
Veterans Cedric Gray and Cody Barton appear locked into the starting roles at inside linebacker. Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley recently said rookie Anthony Hill Jr. is learning the MIKE position. With James Williams Sr. also making big-time plays at practice, the Titans have the luxury of bringing Hill along slowly. Fernando Carmona, OG
The Titans are holding a competition at right guard between Jackson Slater and Cordell Volson. Rookie guard Fernando Carmona has occasionally moved up the depth chart, but there's no real indication that he's a legitimate contender to play meaningful snaps in 2026. If Slater or Volson fail to prove themselves as a long-term option, Carmona could be prepared to start in 2027. Verdict: Stock Neutral
Nicholas Singleton, RB
Rookie running back Nicholas Singleton has occasionally impressed onlookers with his size and athleticism. Despite that, veterans Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears have clearly separated themselves as the Titans' preferred two backs. Furthermore, Singleton fumbled a screen pass earlier this week. Ball security is of the utmost importance when attempting to earn the coaching staff's trust. Fellow running back Kalel Mullings is also competing for a role. Verdict: Stock Down
Jackie Marshall, DT
Notable sightings of rookie defensive tackle Jackie Marshall have been relatively few and far between. The Titans have four proven veterans at the position in Jeffery Simmons, John Franklin-Myers, Solomon Thomas, and Jordan Elliott. Marshall is firmly competing for his roster spot, though his draft-pick status probably gives him an upper hand over contenders like Jalyn Holmes and Khalen Saunders. Verdict: Stock Down
Pat Coogan, C
Austin Schlottmann is the Titans' unquestioned starting center after he was purposely targeted in free agency for that role. Sixth-round rookie Pat Coogan has received some reps with the second-team offense, working ahead of backup Andre James. Coogan hasn't been perfect, as a few errant snaps have happened. The Titans are deep at tight end, but rookie Jaren Kanak has found ways to make impacts at multiple practices. He's routinely been involved as a pass catcher, highlighting the athleticism that forced a college position switch to offense from linebacker.
