There’s no doubt that the Tennessee Titans need to enjoy a strong offseason if they want any chance at success with Robert Saleh at head coach. Mike Borgonzi hit a home run with Saleh, but how the Titans approach these next few months will really show if they are ready to compete immediately.

Tennessee has a league-leading amount of cap space and a top-five pick. They'll spend those resources building around sophomore franchise quarterback Cam Ward. Borgonzi has the chance to make a serious impact this offseason and turn the AFC South into a serious contending division.

Titans are already being predicted as 2026 breakout team (and fans should be thrilled)

Lou Scataglia from NFL Spin Zone has listed the Titans as one of the three teams that could “shock the world” and break out during the 2026 season. In addition to the Titans, the Saints and Cowboys were also listed.

"The Tennessee Titans are the second team on this list that saw their rookie quarterback put some nice football on tape down the stretch in 2025. The Titans hired Robert Saleh as the new head coach, and Saleh made a slam-dunk move that could pay off in a big way when he hired Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator."

The coaching staff is already solid and they should make a great impact for Titans players next season. However, it is up to Borgonzi to deliver the talent Saleh and Daboll want to coach. Ward should benefit from having Daboll as his OC, especially when you consider what he was able to do with Josh Allen up in Buffalo.

Daboll should have complete control of the offense. Saleh will be running the defense, and he is an amazing defensive play-caller, proven by his stint with the 49ers. Gus Bradley was hired as defensive coordinator to help apply Saleh's teachings.

There is great draft capital to use to build up for the future, and there is great cap space to bring in immediate help. The Titans could easily have themselves a huge 2026 season that no one is talking about. Buckle up Titans fans, it’s almost go-time for free agency and the draft.
