The excitement over the Tennessee Titans' 2026 offseason is overflowing at this point. The Titans made a home run hire for their new head coach by bringing in Robert Saleh from the 49ers. They followed that up by landing Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator.

On top of the coaching hires, the Titans have the most cap space out of any team in the NFL with nearly $100 million in available space. They have Cam Ward on a rookie contract and ultimate flexibility for years to come.

With the expectation that the Titans will aggressively try to be the next team to go from worst to first in the AFC South, there is one particular free agent who would make a ton of sense to reunite with Brian Daboll in Nashville, adding another layer to the offense entirely.

Titans OC Brian Daboll must target WR Wan'Dale Robinson in NFL Free Agency

When it comes to NFL Free Agency, you can always bank on the three degrees of separation being a factor. NFL Free Agency is as much about who you know as what you can do for a team, and while there are exceptions, it wouldn't be a shocker -- in the slightest -- to see Daboll bang the table for some familiar faces set to hit the market in March.

One player, in particular, who could make a ton of sense for the Titans, is wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson. Robinson is obviously a fantastic fit for Daboll's offense, evidenced by the fact that he just became the shortest player in NFL history to rack up 1,000 receiving yards in a season while playing in it.

What's really fascinating about Robinson's evolution as a player is that he's gone from being an intriguing sort of "gadget" player for the Giants' offense to being a high-volume featured option in the passing game. He is coming off of two straight seasons with a whopping 140 targets, but his yards per reception increased from 7.5 in 2024 to 11.0 in 2025.

Something was unlocked in Robinson's game this past year, and he can build on that with Daboll and the Titans.

The Titans have a couple of young receivers who look like they're going to be key role players for the offense going forward in Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike. Adding Robinson to the mix, and potentially another player in the first two days of the 2026 NFL Draft, would really set that group off for the 2026 season.

Robinson has always been an effective player after the catch, but he combined his after-the-catch abilities with the ability to also win on more downfield routes this past season. His average depth of target went from 4.8 in 2024 to 8.5 in 2025, but his YAC per reception increased from 3.9 to 4.2.

Again, something was unlocked in his game this past season that Daboll needs to add to the Titans' offense, and give Ward another reliable target who can create offense in a variety of ways.
