Mike Borgonzi and Chad Brinker have been clear that they believe that the Tennessee Titans need to tear down their roster. Brinker and Borgonzi are scrubbing the roster of nearly every player they didn't acquire themselves this past offseason.
The Titans' decision makers are obviously invested in their first collaborative draft class. Judging a player based on half a season of production can be a difficult task. It's still early days, but we re-graded the Commanders' 2025 draft class after the team reached its midseason point.
One important note is that we analyzed offensive players through a post-Brian Callahan lens, extrapolating their production since Callahan's firing to account for the new changes on offense.
Re-grading the Titans' 2025 NFL Draft class at midseason point
Cam Ward, QB
The next few years of Titans football will be centered around Ward and his development. While things were rocky at first, Ward has taken a step forward under Mike McCoy, and if he continues his post-Callahan pace, then he is tracking toward ending the season strong.
Projected 2025 stats: 3,928 yards with 16 TDs and 17 interceptions
Grade: B-
Femi Oladejo, EDGE
Oladejo was put in an impossible spot because of the defense around him and where he was in his development at EDGE. Having said that, no amount of spin can make his season to date look good. Oladejo is inconsistent and lacks the athleticism in space of a former linebacker, but there are flashes of something worth developing.
Projected 2025 stats: 30 tackles, 4 TFLs, 4 QB hits, 0 sacks.
Grade: D
Kevin Winston, S
Winston was the Titans' reward for trading down in the second round, but he was always a long-term project because of the ACL injury he sustained in his last collegiate season. While he has shown some flashes, Winston is just getting a chance to work into the defense, so it is too soon to make any judgments.
Grade: Incomplete
Chimere Dike, WR/KR
The NFL's leader in all-purpose yards, Dike is starting to come into his own as a receiver as well as a returner. At his current rate, he is threatening to get close to 1,000 yards receiving to go along with nearly 2,200 return yards.
Projected 2025 stats: 3,099 all-purpose yards, 2,176 return yards, 923 receiving yards
Grade: A
Gunnar Helm, TE
Helm has been a solid option for the Titans, showcasing reliable hands and focus. While he seems like a guy who probably won't create yards for himself with his burst or acceleration, Helm is performing like a reliable chain-moving tight end.
Projected 2025 stats: 437 receiving yards, 5 touchdowns
Grade: C+
Elic Ayomanor, WR
Ayomanor hit the scene on fire with impressive outings in September, even if the stats don't reflect how productive he was. Still, it is fair to say that Ayomanor has faded since Calvin Ridley went down injured, and he needs to push through the rookie wall and make his presence felt again. He is the only receiver who has seen a downtick in production since Callahan was fired.
Projected 2025 stats: 642 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
Grade: B-
Jackson Slater, iOL, Marcus Harris, CB, Kalel Mullings, RB
A trio of incomplete grades from players that Titans fans haven't had a chance to see yet. Things change quickly in the NFL, and with Kevin Zeitler and Tony Pollard potentially on the trade block, and no more corners left, these rookies could have a chance to earn spots moving forward.
Grade: Incomplete
