TRADE with the Philadelphia Eagles
Round 2, pick 38: Daviyon Nixon DL, Iowa
The machine offered me a trade to swap the 22nd pick for the 38th and and the 84th pick in the NFL Draft. Getting a high 2nd and 3rd round pick would be a no-brainer in this class considering the depth at some of the key positions that we are looking at.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was a strong consideration, but I think the Titans were burned (and are being burned) by Rashaan Evans and they have gotten their best play out of linebackers that they didn’t draft in the first round.
So, on draft day I think they will trade down to get value and to try to stack safer contributors to make up for the 2020 NFL Draft.
Going to Nixon, I don’t know what it is about Iowa players, but the guys that do the dirty work in the trenches generally come out and have very good careers.
Jon Robinson trusts production and Nixon has it in spades. Despite playing as a sophomore in 2019 and a junior in the COVID shortened season of 2020, Nixon played in 21 career games and ended up with 19 TFLs and 8.5 sacks.
Jeffery Simmons is a player that demands double teams, so lining up someone next to him that can win with quickness and make team’s pay for ignoring him, is an ideal use of the Titans first pick.
