Vic Beasley, EDGE

For the Atlanta Falcons, there is no way that they think they can keep Beasley in free agency after this year, and I’m not sure they would want to if they could.

Despite the fact the he has been pretty average in all but one year of his career, there is a good chance that Beasley makes nearly $10 million per year in free agency.

More from Titan Sized

For a speed rusher like Beasley who once led the league in sacks, there will be plenty of teams lining up to make him an offer to be a pass rush specialist on their teams.

The Falcons have Takk McKinley, Adrian Clayborn, Jack Crawford, and John Cominsky  on the roster so there is every chance that Beasley’s role would be reduced this season anyway.

With his contract nearly up, it would benefit everyone if the Falcons could move him for a later round pick.

The Titans could jump in and go after Beasley as they continue to try and find ways to get to Andrew Luck and as they find more ways to hit Deshaun Watson.

The Titans should already have a potentially great tandem of pass rushers in Harold Landry and Cameron Wake, then behind them they have Sharif Finch and D’Andre Walker. Would it really hurt to have a guy with Beasley’s kind of potential in a contract year where he absolutely needs to produce?
