Austin Hooper, TE

Where the Falcons may not want to keep Vic Beasley because of his future contract, they may not be able to keep Austin Hooper because of his.

An athletic and productive tight end, Hooper isn’t an elite tight end but he is very functional and I think he can be a constant threat as a blocker and as a receiver in the right scheme.

As much as the Falcons may like him, there is never a chance where he is even a top-3 target in the passing game on that offense. While you might be able to say the same about the Titans, we all know that eventually the Titans are going to need another tight end.

Hooper can learn and grow behind Delanie Walker and offer an immediate boost at the TE2 spot where Jonnu Smith is still recovering from ACL surgery.

I can almost guarantee you that no coaching staff in the league is going to be able to really hone and develop his talent like the Tennessee Titans can, given the experience of Arthur Smith and Todd Downing.

If the Falcons think that they can get his solid, but not spectacular production elsewhere then he could be a surprise trade candidate.
