AFC East trade targets for the Tennessee Titans
By Will Lomas
Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins seemingly have one of the worst rosters in the NFL right now. Their good players are either definitely not going anywhere (Minkah Fitzpatrick, Xavien Howard, etc.) or they are guys you can’t trust to continue to have good years (DeVante Parker).
So, what do they have to offer a team like the Tennessee Titans?
The best trade target I can find is Nick O’Leary, TE.
He would be the Tennessee Titans blocking tight end and an H-back, similar to Luke Stocker.

Now, this isn’t exciting and it is contingent on a few things happening. First, David Fluellen would have to be bad this preseason in his transformation from RB to FB.
Secondly, you would have to think that Jonnu Smith either needs more time to heal or that the Titans are a little gun shy to rush guys back after they saw what happened with Jack Conklin last year.
Thirdly, you would need to believe that you need a blocking tight end and/or a full back in your offense that can really hold his own as a receiver and on an island blocking. That isn’t quite as common as people think it is.
Finally, the Titans have to be convinced that MyCole Pruitt and Anthony Firkser can contribute on special teams in some way because they have shown enough to earn a spot on the roster either way.
It isn’t idea, but as far as I can tell this is the most realistic option for another trade between the two teams. If this doesn’t excite you enough then just plug in Ryan Tannehill‘s name and I will count it as a win using my hindsight.
