3. Sam Hubbard EDGE, Ohio State

I don’t love this pick, but there are just so many signs that it is going to happen. First of all, Ohio State is going to be a place the Titans look at heavily for at least the next few years.

With the connections between Mike Vrabel and Kerry Coombs at Ohio State, and the fact that OSU has put out some of the best young players in the NFL over the last few years, I expect at least on Buckeye to end up on the roster over the next two years.

Hubbard is a lunch pail guy who is really solid in his run fit and gives the extra effort you like to see in an EDGE. While he is a top-end athlete based on the combine results, on film you see a player who wins because of consistency and effort which is sort of what the Titans have in Derrick Morgan.

So while he isn’t that high on my board, this is about what I think the Titans will do.
