Tennessee Titans 10 most likely 1st round picks in the 2018 NFL Draft
By Will Lomas

4. Marcus Davenport EDGE, UTSA
This is the EDGE I would take with Harold Landry and Bradley Chubb off the board.
On one hand, Robinson has said that he really doesn’t like taking “project” players highly in the draft. Leverage issues and level of competition will earn him exactly that label from many teams in the NFL.
On the other hand, the Titans took a chance on Corey Davis out of Western Michigan last year and it wasn’t like he had to play against top-10 DBs on a weekly basis.
Looking back, I would say that what Corey Davis showed when he was healthy in the playoffs (9 receptions, 98 yards, 2 TDs in two games) has made that look like a good choice compared to the Mike Williams and John Ross who combined for 95 yards over the entire 2017 NFL Season.
Anyway back to Marcus Davenport, history says he should be a boom rather than a bust, look at some of the other names on this chart:
What I have found is that college production matters, specifically, tackles for a loss.
