Tennessee Titans rookie minicamp goals

Tennessee Titans goals for their rookie minicamp on Friday.
The Tennessee Titans aren’t going to win the Super Bowl on Friday, but there are some things they should look for in their rookie minicamp.
I am not expecting anything revolutionary to come out, but these are the headlines I want to see on Sunday afternoon.
More from Titans Draft
- Tennessee Titans suspiciously quiet about major draft need
- 3 needs that are being overblown by Tennessee Titans fans
- Tennessee Titans must be careful trading down in the 2023 NFL Draft
- Tennessee Titans should only spend their premium draft picks on offense
- Tennessee Titans connections may be crucial for a draft day trade
Stay healthy
At the end of the day, I don’t care if the Titans have everyone just go through walkthroughs all day, the most important thing is that everyone stays healthy.
The most important thing is to get everyone to the preseason without any issues.
Corey Davis looking comfortable
I don’t have any concerns about Davis being from the MAC (check out my story on it here if you want more info) still though, you want to see him dominate against other NFL players.
I want to hear how well he ran his routes and just how fast he was with the ball in his hands.
You can also sign me up for stories about how Adoree Jackson was in great coverage, but Davis was just too fast and too strong catching contested passes.

Corey Levin, Josh Carraway are training camp surprises
Corey Levin is one of my favorite draft picks, thanks in large part to Russ Grimm who I believe is a stellar offensive line coach. His raw potential and long term success as a starter makes you love what he can be.
The Titans should be in no rush to start Levin, but if he can earn a spot on the roster, he could be the heir apparent to Josh Kline at right guard on one of the best, young offensive lines in the NFL.
The closest veteran comp for Josh Carraway as an EDGE player based on MockDraftable is Whitney Mercilus who has been a productive pass rusher in the NFL for the Texans.
Unlike Mercilus, the Titans will have a chance to develop Carraway behind a good tandem of pass rushers with no need for him to jump in and be a starter immediately. He can focus on what makes him good and hone those skills.
Healthy battle at for the returner job
Adoree Jackson, Taywan Taylor and Khalfani Muhammad all have the dynamic ability to be big plays waiting to happen at the return spot. I would love for their to be a great competition at that spot.
Adoree Jackson is going to be amazing there, but I would like Muhammad to stand out as well. That could be his chance to make this team and to even get on the active game day roster as well.
If Muhammad can earn that, the he can also steal 5 or 6 touches per game as a change of pace running back with break away speed.

- Tennessee Titans have potential dilemmas in 2023 NFL Draft
The key is, I want them all to look so good that if the Titans really love Jackson on defense and/or Taywan Taylor on offense, they can have them focus on those sides of the ball.
This would allow them to develop their playmakers on offense and defense (something this team desperately needs) without sacrificing the all important field position that the Titans have clearly been trying to improve this offseason.
