The Tennessee Titans released another injury report on Thursday ahead of Sunday's road showdown versus the Buffalo Bills. Cornerback L'Jarius Sneed and running back Tyjae Spears missed their second consecutive practices. Elsewhere, rookie defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat is a new addition to the injury report with a knee designation. Sweat did not practice on Thursday.

Sweat has arguably been Tennessee's best defender this campaign. The No. 38 overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft, Sweat has been assigned an overall defensive grade of 70.2 by Pro Football Focus. He and Jeffery Simmons put forth their best performance of the season in the Week 6 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts, and the Titans would prefer to have their game-wrecking duo available versus the Bills' high-octane offense on Sunday.

Sneed continues to be sidelined with a concern in his quad. Paul Kuharsky is reporting that Sneed is expected to play on Sunday. If he does, he may shadow new Bills wide receiver Amari Cooper, who was acquired in a trade earlier this week. The Titans need their top cornerback in the lineup because the other starter, Chido Awuzie, is already on IR. Rookie cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. has done an admirable job since stepping into the lineup.

Spears is expected to be sidelined on Sunday with an ongoing hamstring injury. Tony Pollard, who has rushed for 339 yards and three touchdowns in six appearances this season, will be in a workhorse role. Julius Chestnut is the other healthy back on the roster. The Titans aren't expected to promote Jabari Small or Joshua Kelley from the practice squad ahead of Sunday.

Third-year wide receiver Treylon Burks was downgraded from a limited participant on Wednesday to a non-participant on Thursday. Burks is working through a knee injury. The midweek downgrade is typically a terrible sign for a player's availability. It could finally mean a bigger workload for DeAndre Hopkins, who has been splitting reps. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine could also receive an increase in responsibility after scoring a touchdown last weekend.

Defensive lineman Keondre Coburn missed another practice with a knee injury. He is not expected to play on Sunday. Sebastian Joseph-Day could play more snaps as a result. Linebacker Ernest Jones IV was upgraded from a limited participant to a full participant after battling an illness earlier in the week. He should play in his usual starting spot next to Kenneth Murray.
