With the Tennessee Titans reeling and having no clear vision of what their future holds, at the moment, there are many wondering if the team will wind up being sellers before this year's NFL trade deadline.

That deadline is quickly approaching, set for November 5, and the Titans have some pieces they might be willing to unload.

The biggest name which Tennessee might part with? Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

Tennessee is far from having their quarterback situation resolved and Hopkins, being on the last year of his current deal, would likely jump at an opportunity to try to win on a contending team. But, what could the Titans get in a deal for Hopkins?

In one of his recent segments on the air, NFL insider Tom Pelissero covered the current state of the wide receiver trade market and covered a bit of why he thinks Hopkins could be next. He also noted what the logical asking price for Hopkins might be.

"Look at some of the recent trades that have happened. You saw the Keenan Allen move. You saw the Stefon Diggs move. Is DeAndre Hopkins in that group, talent-wise? Yeah, for sure," the insider affirmed.

DeAndre Hopkins could get traded for a similar return as Stefon Diggs and Keenan Allen

"Those trades were essentially a fourth rounder, fourth or fifth, in that range," Pelissero noted, "and you would think that'd be kind of the range for a DeAndre Hopkins trade."

Now, has Hopkins gone so far as to ask for a trade from the Titans? That hasn't come to the surface ... yet.

"I'm not saying this has happened (a trade request) with Hop," said Pelissero, "but he has every right to go to the Titans organization and say, 'Hey, I'm at this age, I can still play, I've never won a championship ... can I go and try to chase a ring in some capacity?"

Hopkins certainly has every right to ask for a trade at this stage in his career. The Titans are a train wreck on offense, and that's not on his shoulders. It's by none of his doing. Hopkins does, indeed, deserve better than Will Levis -- so do Titans fans, but that's a story for another day.

While there haven't necessarily been heated trade talks to this point, the insider pointed out that there are teams interested strictly based off the facts. He's on the last year of his deal, he's getting older and feels he can still play, and he deserves a shot at a ring.

"All of those things are why teams are kind of calling on Hop," Pelissero finished.

If the Titans wanted to do right by Hopkins and could end up getting a fourth-round pick in exchange for the wide receiver, that's a deal this front office needs to hop all over.
