The Tennessee Titans traded down during the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, flipping No. 35 to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for Nos. 52 and 82. After waiting 17 picks longer than originally planned to make his selection, Titans general manager selected UCLA EDGE Femi Oladejo.

The Titans are taking a risk to address a massive position of need. Dennard Wilson's defense recorded the third-fewest sacks in the league last season. The only notable move made in free agency was to sign veteran inside-outside player Dre'Mont Jones after releasing 2024 sack leader Harold Landry III. Oladejo is a raw project, but he joins a defensive line that requires immediate production.
Oladejo entered the 2024 campaign with the Bruins as an off-ball linebacker. After injuries to key players, Oladejo moved to full-time EDGE rusher in the middle of the season. It's rare for a player to undergo a position change midseason, but that's precisely what occurred.
Oladejo flashed promise at a new position, using his raw athleticism and abilities to apply pressure on opposing backfields. The California native recorded a career-high 4.5 sacks and 57 total tackles. Back in 2022 at Cal, he was a traditional off-ball linebacker who accumulated 91 tackles.
Oladejo continued displaying that untapped athleticism and potential at the NFL Combine. The versatile defender leaped a 36.5 inch vertical and 10-foot broad jump. Oladejo also displayed strength by posting 20 reps on the bench press.
Oladejo is a high-effort player with a powerful frame. He aims to physically impose his will on offensive linemen. Oladejo also utilizes his 33.5 inch arms to create extension and disengage from blockers as a run defender.
Oladejo is understandably raw given his 2024 midseason position change. The Titans are betting on his athleticism, effort, and football character. Oladejo possesses the required tools to develop into a high-impact edge rusher in Tennessee.
He'll play a role on a defensive line that features Arden Key and the aforementioned Jones as the starting EDGEs.
