Every free-agent signing, extension, cut, and trade this offseason pointed to the Tennessee Titans attempting to rebuild at the cost of winning games in 2025. Despite the patient approach, head coach Brian Callahan is undoubtedly on the hot seat following Sunday's lifeless performance that dropped the team to 0-3.

The Titans are in rebuild mode. We're nearing the point where Borgonzi will be interested in trading veteran players who aren't in their long-term plans in exchange for draft capital.

Which veterans on the Titans roster should be gone before Halloween?

Titans should consider trading the following veterans for draft capital after lifeless 0-3 start

Calvin Ridley, WR

There is no way to sugarcoat it, Ridley has been the biggest disappointment on the roster this season. Cam Ward continues to look Ridley's way in an attempt to get him going, and he is repeatedly met with dropped passes and a lack of concentration. Some teams desperate for receiver help will see the upside.

Sebastian Joseph-Day, DL

Joseph-Day was a coveted player at the trade deadline last year, but the Titans elected to hold onto him. He is a very solid and versatile depth piece, and a contending team that needs defensive line help should call the Titans. Joseph-Day is on an expiring contract.

Kevin Zeitler, RG

The right side of the offensive line was supposed to be a strength this year, but it has been anything but that. Zeitler has been fine when healthy, but in a lost season, both he and the team would be better off if they parted ways. Rookie Jackson Slater would be a candidate to get the available reps.

Dre'Mont Jones and Arden Key, EDGE

The Titans EDGEs have been useless this season, but that isn't entirely their fault. Both were better players last year, and whatever tweaks Dennard Wilson attempted to make with this defense have had the opposite effect. Key and Jones are slated for free agenct after this year and aren't in the Titans' long-term plans. EDGE is a position where every team is looking for more depth, so there could be some market for these two.

Tony Pollard, RB

Pollard is still a solid running back option, but he isn't going to be good forever. A team that has lost a key running back, like the Arizona Cardinals or L.A. Chargers, should call the Titans to see if they are willing to part with the veteran. It would also create a big chunk of cap space for them to use in 2026.

Tyler Lockett, WR

You can never have too many receivers, and Lockett still thrives at finding ways to get open. Lockett isn't going to wow after the catch, but he would be a great third or fourth receiving option on a team that just needs someone to win in the middle of the field and move the chains.
