Not much has gone right for the Tennessee Titans thus far in the 2025 NFL season, as they carry an 0-4 record into the second quarter of the campaign. After making small improvements the first three weeks, their 26-0 loss in Week 4 to the Houston Texans marked a massive step back.

Rookie quarterback Cam Ward hasn't brought his best stuff yet, but it's been tough sledding for the young star considering all of the issues crashing down around him. This team, in its current state, does not look exactly look like one that could beat another NFL team this year.

Fortunately, however, they have a winnable game on the horizon. Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals is not likely to be the team's first victory, but in Week 6, they'll travel to take on the currently 1-3 Las Vegas Raiders, who just received a brutal piece of news.

Kolton Miller's injury paves easier route for Titans win vs. Raiders

Playing the Raiders in Las Vegas on the third game of a road trip does not exactly sound like winning conditions for the Titans, but it should be noted that the Raiders are 0-2 at home this year. Matchup-wise, it should be favorable for Tennessee as well.

On Tuesday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that star Las Vegas left tackle Kolton Miller will be headed to the Injured Reserve with a high ankle sprain and broken ankle. This means he will missed Week 6's game against the Titans at Allegiant Stadium.

While the Raiders' offensive line has been abysmal this year anyway, Miller was pretty much their lone bright spot. In Week 4 against the Chicago Bears, it seemed like the team may have figured out a better run and pass-blocking formula, but that may all be for naught with Miller sidelined.

Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons has been excellent, so this is a game where Tennessee can assert their will at the line of scrimmage. If they can also pressure quarterback Geno Smith, he has proven that he'll toss his share of interceptions.

The Raiders have turned it over at a high margin this year as well, who have turned it over eight times with just four takeaways. This will be beneficial to a Titans team that, somehow, has an even turnover differential despite their 0-4 record.

While Titans fans are not wishing for their opponents best players to get hurt, this is a fortuitous break for Tennessee; truly the first one of the season. The stars are aligning for what most would still consider an upset, so don't be surprised if the Titans earn their first win in Week 6.
