The Tennessee Titans did not trade quarterback Will Levis during the 2025 NFL Draft. Since then, general manager Mike Borgonzi and head coach Brian Callahan have consistently discussed having Levis compete for reps throughout training camp. Perhaps the Titans are content to delay the inevitable, but it's ultimately difficult to imagine him beginning the regular season in Tennessee.
Despite his 2024 nightmare, Levis will have interested suitors around the league. Young quarterbacks with mobility and strong arms will have teams believing they can develop him into a legit asset, turning over every leaf in search of untapped potential.
A total of 14 quarterbacks were selected during the draft, starting with the Titans and Cam Ward at No. 1 overall. That has drastically altered the list of Levis' prospective landing spots. We've identified three potential teams who may still possess interest in a Levis trade.
Will Levis potential landing spots
Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay possesses a brilliant offensive mind. He's an expert at salvaging failing careers, having done something similar for Baker Mayfield a few years ago after he washed out in Cleveland and Carolina. The Rams didn't draft a quarterback this year, and have 33-year-old Jimmy Garoppolo backing up 37-year-old Matthew Stafford. They whiffed on Stetson Bennett in 2023. Levis would give McVay another young project to mold.
New York Jets
The New York Jets have expressed confidence in starter Justin Fields, but he's just on a two-year bridge contract. It was a bit surprising to see the Jets pass on an opportunity to draft a quarterback altogether. New head coach Aaron Glenn is clearly taking things slow by focusing on rebuilding the culture before investing in a QB. Levis would be a worthwhile swing, offering Glenn a signal caller he can try developing behind the scenes without the expectations of having a high draft-pick attached to his name.
Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals are another team that passed on drafting a quarterback. Kyler Murray is locked into the starting gig for the foreseeable future, but having a young developmental backup behind him wouldn't hurt. Instead of that, Arizona has Jacoby Brissett and Clayton Tune. Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort departed the Titans just months before they drafted Levis, meaning he would have been involved in the early scouting conversations.
