The Tennessee Titans have a trio of pending free agents across the offensive line. Starting right guard Kevin Zeitler is the team's most notable blocker on an expiring contract. Key backup linemen Oli Udoh and Corey Levin are also free agents.
The Titans should possess interest in re-signing all three players. General manager Mike Borgonzi is equipped with a league-leading amount of cap space. Zeitler was a high-level starter in 2025, and both Levin and Udoh gave the offense meaningful snaps when called upon.
If Zeitler chooses to retire or play elsewhere, Borgonzi will enter the free agency market for a replacement. One player with significant ties to the new coaching staff is New York Giants first-round bust Evan Neal. The Titans could see Neal as an intriguing reclamation project.
Giants first-round bust Evan Neal could revive his career with the Titans
New Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll became the Giants' head coach in 2022. That same offseason, the team drafted Neal with the No. 7 overall selection. Neal was picked to play right tackle, but failed to meet expectations.
This past season, the Giants decided to move Neal to guard. It was out of sheer desperation in an attempt to rescue his flailing career. If the Titans lose Zeitler to free agency, an interior blocker is precisely what Borgonzi will target.
Neal actually didn't play any regular-season snaps in 2025, but he took key practice reps at his new position. Nobody will possess a better understanding of his progress than Daboll. Several members of that Giants coaching staff followed Daboll to Tennessee, including offensive line coach Carmen Briciollo, Neal's position coach over the past two seasons (2024-25).
If Neal is brought to Tennessee, The Titans wouldn't consider him a surefire starter, given his inexperience at guard. There are a variety of ways the Titans could handle his development. Neal could compete with sophomore draft pick Jackson Slater for a reserve role, for example.
Neal is among the most disappointing top-10 draft picks in recent memory. Titans staffers Daboll, Bricillo, and quarterbacks coach Shea Tierney will possess inside information on his upside heading into free agency. That information could be decisive as Borgonzi searches for players worth taking on.
