As holders of the No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans were hyper-focused on quarterbacks at theis year's NFL Combine. Though top prospects Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward opted against participating in throwing drills, the Titans still learned a lot about them, and other signal callers in Indianapolis.

Head coach Brian Callahan confirmed the Titans would "check in" with every quarterback in attendance. They hosted several of them for formal interviews, including Texas' Quinn Ewers. Quarterbacks took center stage at the Combine in Saturday's primetime slot. While the dust settles on their participation, we've identified which signal callers impressed the Titans the most.

Cam Ward, QB, Miami

While Ward did not participate athletically, he was incredibly poised and in control at the podium during his media session. The Hurricanes standout fielded questions about Callahan and the Titans' offense, and displayed good knowledge of their scheme, even comparing some concepts to what he executed at Miami. If the Titans are even considering a QB at No. 1 overall, Ward is the only logical choice.

Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

The Titans' formal meeting with Ewers proves they're at least mildly intrigued by the former Longhorns signal caller. Ewers failed to meet expectations throughout the 2024 season, but he began rehabilitating his reputation with scouts at the NFL Combine. His throwing session was arguably the most impressive of the afternoon, highlighting touch, velocity, and accuracy.

Tyler Shough, QB, Louisville

Tyler Shough spent large portions of his college football career on the sideline battling injury. His ability to overcome adversity is inspiring. In his sixth campaign of college ball in 2024, at his third different program, the Chandler, Arizona native stayed healthy and threw for career highs in yards (3,195) and touchdowns (23). His ability to make every throw from a variety of platforms and arm angles was on display at Lucas Oil Stadium. Shough also posted encouraging testing numbers, running the 40 yard dash in 4.63 seconds, and leaping a 32 inch vertical and 9-foot-9 broad jump.

Riley Leonard, QB, Notre Dame

It was generally a rough evening for the quarterbacks in truth. Riley Leonard looked significantly better than Jalen Milroe, Will Howard, and Dillon Gabriel. Leonard threw the football with rhythm-and-timing, showcasing good anticipation to hit his targets in stride. He qualified Notre Dame for a National Championship in 2024, and is coming off his best season. The same progress was evident throughout his throwing session at the NFL Combine.
