Derrick Henry dunked all over a beat reporter after he called out Titans fans

Earlier in the offseason, Tennessee Titans fans saw the inevitable finally happen. Derrick Henry, the franchise's second-leading rusher all-time, was let go and signed with the Baltimore Ravens.

After eight legendary seasons that saw Henry run over defender after defender, en route to a franchise-best 90 rushing touchdowns, Henry found a new football home for the first time in his professional career.

Speaking of running over defenders, it's something Henry continues to do even in his free time.

Only, in this case, who knew his next "defender" would be a guy who has worked closely with the Titans, and Henry, for years.

Titans insider and beat reporter, Paul Kuharsky, took to social media recently to express a pretty tasteless opinion on the Titans' former running back, essentially calling out fans who will still continue to root for Henry and his new team's success.

Kuharsky, of course, has been covering the Titans for over two decades and is one of the more well-known personalities Titans fans have become familiar with. But, the fact that he would call out fans who still wished success for Henry is quite the shot below the belt to the Titans legend.

Titans fans should feel unashamed about supporting Derrick Henry in his new endeavor

Look, there are only a couple of instances where one might need to feel bad about supporting Henry on a new team. Should he have signed with a division rival, then sure, rooting for one of those three teams would seem quite wrong.

Additionally, if the Titans were to somehow meet the Ravens in the AFC title game this coming season, then of course they'd be on the side of Tennessee -- does that even need to be reiterated?

But, for a Titans fan to want to see Henry succeed on his new team? That's far from ill-advised. In fact, it should be applauded. Unless the Titans are facing off against Baltimore, then seeing Henry succeed and win football games is not wrong.

And, if the Titans are out of the playoff picture, then there should be nothing wrong with Tennessee fans having a horse in the race. If it's not Tennessee, in 2024, then the way I see it ... it's "hash tag RavensFlock," baby.
