The Tennessee Titans will enter this offseason with some main priorities, but none might be more important than firing offensive coordinator Tim Kelly and finding a replacement.

The Titans' offense needs a huge lift, and quarterback Will Levis has to be given the right development and scheme to move forward in his career.

Tennessee is sixth-worst in yards per game and fifth-worst in scoring. It's a no-brainer to let go of Kelly and look for an upgrade, but who would they hire in his place?

Here are a few names to watch that could give this offense a whole new identity and some life in 2024.

1. Jerrod Johnson, Quarterbacks Coach, Houston Texans

What the Houston Texans have done behind rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud is nothing short of extraordinary. Even if they come short of a postseason berth, the Texans should feel great about this season and their future.

Offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik and quarterbacks coach Jerrod Johnson should be coaches to watch for promotions in the near future. These guys deserve a lot of credit for how the Texans offense has performed, both through the air and even on the ground, at times.

Johnson is a former quarterback and a younger offensive mind, which is the way the league is headed. He'd be a strong hire for Levis, and would come with a little bit of an edge, having known the AFC South and the teams which Tennessee will play twice a year.

Under Johnson, Stroud is likely the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and has passed for over 3,800 yards, 21 touchdowns and just five interceptions.
