Over the course of the early portion of this offseason, there are some who believe to know what the Tennessee Titans are going to do come the 2025 NFL Draft.

With the first overall pick in this year's draft, the Titans hold a whole lot of power. There are a variety fo ways they could choose to go, and even more controversial than what some might think they will do could be those who believe they know what the Titans won't do.

Since new general manager Mike Borgonzi made his comment about not passing on a generational player at no. 1 overall, there are many who think there was a reference made to one of a couple players. However, that word "generational" likely wasn't in reference to a quarterback.

Therefore, a narrative that's being written since those comments has the Titans passing on a quarterback at no. 1 overall and going with someone like either Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter or Colorado two-way standout Travis Hunter.

Yet, one NFL insider wanted to offer some caution to those who believe the Titans have their minds made up on this year's top two quarterbacks. In a recent video, James Palmer noted that Tennessee is, in fact, not set on what their strategy is with the first overall pick.

The Titans have not made their minds up on Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward

"We are very early in the process. I don't think they've come to a conclusion on either quarterback or that they don't want either quarterback," Palmer said.

Along with stating the Titans have yet to come to a conclusion on this matter, Palmer also started connecting the dots in a potential Aaron Rodgers landing here in Nashville. Make of that what you will, but it goes to show the Titans are far from having a concrete plan.

And, this all makes sense because, like Palmer stated, it is early.

We have not even seen this year's prospects take the field at the NFL Combine yet. Pro Days have not happened. This process is far from over and the draft is still over two months away.

Could the Titans go after a veteran? Sure, it makes sense. But, could they also draft a rookie at the top? Absolutely.

We have been fooled before, and especially having so much time between now and the draft, it's difficult to believe the Titans have their minds made up on Ward or Sanders, and even Carter or Hunter at this point.
