Believe it or not, it's lowkey an exciting time to be a Titans fan. Getting the 1st overall pick in the NFL Draft is always a depressing experience, but now that the games are over, the Titans are back in that fun space where fans can start treating the idea of Travis Hunter, Cam Ward, or Shedeur Sanders a little more realistically.

Now there's nothing stopping the Titans from getting their next young QB of the future and quickly turning things around in a division that, on paper, looks winnable. But! Instead of the Titans going in that direction, how would you feel about getting a 41-year old QB, who's probably not very good, for one single year? Would that be fun? Because that's what NFL Insider James Palmer thinks is going to happen this offseason, which he elaborated on some in a live video he did with Bleacher Report.
Aaron Rodgers would kinda make sense as a one-year bridge QB for the Titans in 2025
"I had heard during the week, Nashville come up a few different ways," Palmer said. "I think the reason why Nashville is coming up, and him possibly signing with the Titans is this: Yes, he does live there, that's one part of it. Two, if the Titans are open to trading back, or don't want one of these top two quarterbacks, whether it's Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders ... if they do come to the conclusion that they'd like to move out of that first spot, and somebody really does love one of these two quarterbacks, and they can get a haul, Mike Borgonzi, their new GM, is looking to build this new roster, and looking at the 2026 Draft ... So then Aaron could be, essentially, that bridge. He'd obviously be better than Will Levis, played actually good football during the backend of the season ... I don't know how many options Aaron Rodgers is going to have, so I think that may be an option on the table, for sure."
Welllllllp. Signing Rodgers didn't work out for anyone else, but it might work for the Titans! And if this modern era of Titans football where everyone just comes to play one season and hangout in Nashville has to end with one last player, it's weirdly-fitting that it could be Rodgers. What could be more Titans than that?
