The New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks will meet in Super Bowl LX as they defeated their respective opponents in Sunday's AFC and NFC Championship Games. Whether you want to say it was because of various factors or not, at the end of the day, they will meet to battle for the right to call themselves world champions.

When Drake Maye picked up a crucial third down conversion late in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots the win, it not only showed that the Pats really are back, but it showed the Tennessee Titans just how bad they messed up by firing Mike Vrabel at the conclusion of the 2023 season.

The former Titans head coach is heading to the Super Bowl with the franchise that helped him become one of the best linebackers in the game at one point. While he is celebrating and getting ready for Santa Clara, the Titans are starting a bit of a rebuild led by Mike Borgonzi and Robert Saleh.

Mike Vrabel keeps finding ways to indirectly embarrass Titans

While Saleh has the chance to bring the same energy that Vrabel had, the Titans are down bad with seeing Vrabel have such immediate success with New England. According to The Draft Network's Jamie Eisner, the Patriots have won “as many games since December 21st as the Titans have won since firing Mike Vrabel.”

Under Vrabel, the Titans only had two losing seasons which were his last two as the head coach in Tennessee. Then again, when you lose players like A.J. Brown via a trade that was out of your control, there isn’t a whole lot you can do to maintain competitiveness. Vrabel is a former Coach of the Year award winner and could easily win his second one this season with what he has done with the Patriots.

The Titans hired Brian Callahan after firing Vrabel, who lasted less than two seasons. Titans fans will now be forced to watch Vrabel potentially win his first Super Bowl as a head coach while having to wait and see if this new regime can restore respect.
