June and July are the perfect time to look back at how much different the Tennessee Titans' roster is now compared to what they were as they limped to the finish line in January. With that in mind, Wan'Dale Robinson should be a name that fans are buzzing about right now, but he is still being slept on.
Most people don't know Robinson recorded 100-yard games with three different quarterbacks last season, which is incredibly rare. These games weren't about him catching 10 dump-off passes in blowouts either; the former Kentucky standout had multiple 30+ yard receptions from each of those three quarterbacks, which is another rare feat.
When Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending injury, Robinson stepped up and became a weapon all over the field without missing a beat, shaking off the notion that he can't generate offense for himself.
Titans WR Wan'Dale Robinson could be the unsung hero of Brian Daboll's offense
Over his four-year career, Robinson has gotten better and better, reaching new statistical highs each season. That culminated with the Titans landing a 25-year-old, 1,000-yard receiver who will be a perfect fit with his former coach, Brian Daboll, calling the shots on offense.
How did Robinson fly under the radar? Well, it doesn't help that he was signed in a flurry of moves that also included massive contracts for cornerbacks Alontae Taylor and Cor'Dale Flott, and the team made the monster move of bringing in John Franklin-Myers to pair with Jeffery Simmons.
On top of all of that, the Titans followed that up by shocking the world and picking wide receiver Carnell Tate with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Robinson wasn't the most hyped up free agent signing, and he wasn't the biggest wide receiver acquisition that the team made this offseason. Those factors created a perfect storm that has allowed one of the Titans' most exciting free agent signings in the last few years to slip under the radar.
However, you can feel the buzz starting already. Despite the highlight reel catches and fun moments from Tate at OTAs, it was Robinson who caught the most passes and improved his chemistry with Cam Ward the most in the early summer. Training camp is right around the corner, and fans who are sleeping on Robinson are going to be in for a fun surprise when they realize the team's secret weapon is poised for a breakout season.
