With a couple of weeks to go, it's pretty safe to say we know what the Tennessee Titans are going to do at no. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft.

It's going to be Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward. Anything else, at this point, would come as a surprise. But, beyond their first rounder, the Titans could be open for business and, well, anything goes.

Many would assume the Titans might like to recoup some draft capital as, for example, they don't have a third rounder thanks to last year's L'Jarius Sneed trade. But, one particular expert seems to believe Tennessee could go the opposite route.

ESPN's Matt Miller recently shared a bit of what he's hearing on the Titans' draft plans and had this to say about another potential first-round move:

"Expect Tennessee to be aggressive in adding a wideout, possibly with a trade up from No. 35 to target a player such as Emeka Egbuka (Ohio State) or Luther Burden III (Missouri)."

A trade back into the first round could change everything for the Titans

Fans may have a bit of first-round wide receiver anxiety thanks to Treylon Burks, but a move like this could truly change things for the team. And, if the Titans did wait until pick 35, some of their options might not be there.

With Ward locked in as the franchise quarterback, adding a receiver like either Emeka Egbuka or Luther Burden would take this offense to a different level. Calvin Ridley may not be the true no. 1 Titans fans want this team to have, but he's good enough for now.

Adding talent, other than Ridley, is key. Getting another solid wide receiver who can act as a strong WR2 gives Ward a real second weapon in the passing game. Right now, it's Van Jefferson and Burks aside from Ridley.

Nothing against the recently-signed Jefferson, but neither one of them are going to cut it as the no. 2. But, a wide receiver like Egbuka who excels at many different things? That's the type to go after. Giving a mobile quarterback like Ward a top-tier slot receiver like Egbuka could be a game changer.

Even Burden is tantalizing. More of an outside threat with his size and playmaking ability, Burden could offer a fun element to this offense.

Whatever the Titans end up doing, what we know right now is that there are actually those who believe the team could trade back into the first round. Coming away with two first-round picks would be quite the statement for first-year general manager Mike Borgonzi and, thus, inspire the fan base with a lot more reason for positivity going forward.
