The Tennessee Titans are currently winless on the season, and their offense once again ranks near the bottom of the league. Despite this dreadful start to the season, one player has finally ascended into the talent fans hoped he would eventually become.

The Titans selected JC Latham seventh overall in 2024, and he has finally emerged as a future building block of this roster. At only 23 years old, Latham has been lockdown on the right side of the offensive line, and a bully in the run game. Per PFF, he's currently allowed zero sacks on the season, but that number will certainly be put to the test versus the Houston Texans in Week 5.

The Titans will host the division rival Texans on Sunday at Nissan Stadium. Robert Saleh's unit enters as heavy underdogs, but that doesn't mean Titans' fans shouldn't be excited. Latham will face his toughest challenge yet against elite edge-rusher Will Anderson Jr., and it will be a must-watch duel.

Titans OT JC Latham will face his ultimate test against Will Anderson Jr.

Obviously Latham has been playing his best football, but Anderson Jr. is a whole different beast. The former All-Pro is the current betting favorite for Defensive Player of the Year and has already logged 4.5 sacks on the year. He can beat you with his speed or strength, so Latham better be ready for a battle.

History between Latham and Anderson goes back further than just their division rivalry, as both were teammates for two seasons at Alabama. They've already played against each other on multiple occasions, with Anderson often getting the better of Latham.

Anderson recently spoke on the upcoming matchup against the Titans' tackle, "I have a ton of respect for JC. Can't wait to go against him. It's always been fun. We've been very competitive with each other since college. I win some, he wins some, but that's what the game is about. I can't wait to go against him."

Latham has been dominant through the first four games of the season, but this game will tell us just how good he really is. If he can manage to hold Anderson's game-wrecking ability to a minimum, there's a chance he'd be on track to becoming the team's first All-Pro tackle since Jack Conklin in 2016.
