The Tennessee Titans have signed second-round pick Femi Oladejo to his rookie contract, according to various reports. Oladejo becomes the ninth and final member of the team's 2025 NFL draft class to sign his deal. The agreement was crucially completed ahead of Tuesday's report date to training camp, meaning a contract-related holdout won't ensue.

There had been league-wide issues with getting rookie second-round picks signed due to the Houston Texans' decision to sign No. 35 overall selection Jayden Higgins to a fully guaranteed contract. Other second-round picks, Oladejo included, were in a holding pattern while hoping to negotiate the same agreement.

A significant breakthrough occurred in the Oladejo negotiations last week when the San Francisco 49ers signed rookie DT Alfred Collins (No. 43 overall) to a deal. Though Collins received more guaranteed money than previous players at his draft slot, it was not a fully guaranteed contract. That's when the dominoes started to fall, with a number of second-rounders putting pen to paper within hours.

Seattle Seahawks rookie tight end Elijah Arroyo signed on Friday afternoon. Arroyo, the 50th pick in April, saw 78% of his contract fully guaranteed, per Zach Lyons. That example helped the Titans and Oladejo, the 52nd pick, get on the same page.

Oladejo's contract is for four years and $8,415,106 million, with the first three years fully guaranteed. That means 75% of the contract is guaranteed. The NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported the agreement.

Oladejo is expected to make an immediate impact on Tennessee's defense. The linebacker-turned-pass-rusher is strong, long, and explosive. Oladejo should contend for reps right away in a questionable EDGE room that has veterans Arden Key, Dre'Mont Jones, and Lorenzo Carter.

Oladejo could earn considerable playing time as a rookie if he continues acclimating quickly to Dennard Wilson's defense. Thankfully, there will be no contract-related holdout over guaranteed money. Oladejo needed practice reps at training camp, so it's comforting to see his deal get done.
