When it comes to NFL Draft information, specifically information surrounding the New York Jets, there are few who have insight as good as Tony Pauline. Considering that Robert Saleh spent years as the Jets head coach before joining the Tennessee Titans, that means that Titans fans would be wise to listen to what Pauline has to say.

On Monday morning, Pauline doubled down on some old information, but he also added a new wrinkle that will change what Titans expect to happen on Thursday when the team is on the clock with the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Draft insider Tony Pauline drops bombshell Tennessee Titans report

"The belief from those close to the Titans organization I’ve spoken with is that the Titans can’t go wrong at pick No. 4," Pauline wrote. "This is due to a combination of the team having so many needs and the players expected to be available to them fitting those needs.

I mentioned from the Senior Bowl that edge rusher David Bailey fits the Titans defense like a duck on water, and I’m told he is the game-changer new head coach Robert Saleh covets. Yet it’s unlikely the Texas Tech product falls into the Titans’ laps.

The team likes both Sonny Styles and Jermiyah Love, yet it believes the Ohio State linebacker is the safer pick for their scheme."

According to that information, the Titans' board could look like:

1. David Bailey
2. Sonny Styles
3. Jeremiyah Love

If this is true, it does raise some questions. First and foremost, how does Arvell Reese factor into this conversation? With Reese continuing to gain momentum as the likely second pick in the draft, Pauline could be saying that this list excludes Reese from consideration.

Secondly, what about the option of a trade down? In different parts of that article and in the past, Pauline has said that the Titans are considering a trade down. Perhaps that is no longer the case.

The one certain thing is that this strongly suggests that Pauline's information from sources around the team indicates Love might not be the pick. There is time for that to change, but Mike Borgonzi said in the team's press conference that the board was set. That means fans shouldn't expect rankings to change, though the circumstances might.
