I received my Bachelors of Science in communication from Middle Tennessee State University. During my time there, I served office positions in some of my campus organizations. That includes Vice President of the American Marketing Association-the collegiate chapter. I served as the chair of promotions for the campus organization To Write Love On Her Arms.I was a part of Lambda Theta Honor Society. I was part of the National Association of Black Journalists. I was a member of Ad Club. I also served as the student head of research for an advertising campaign for a new campus EXL program called MT Engage.While I was focusing on school and organizations, I had time to do a few internships and volunteer work. I interned for the marketing department at the Campus Recreation Center assisting with marketing plans and creating promotional items. I interned at Song Placement International in Nashville, TN placing music to films. I volunteered for the Blue Raider Athletic Association doing some telemarketing and attaining new donors to the athletic program. I worked at the Athletic Center tutoring and mentoring the football team. I was also able to gain some volunteer experience at a local marketing firm called Seedling Marketing Group.
