The NFL allows teams to start "legally tampering" with free agency on Monday morning, but it won't shock anyone to realize that teams and agents have already been talking and figuring out potential landing spots.

Just because a fit makes sense, it doesn't constitute a substantial rumor, but when someone close to the team reports something or when several rumors from different outlets say the same things, Titans fans should perk up their ears.

Currently, there are seven players or positions that are strongly being linked to the Titans, and these are the situations to keep a close eye on over the next few days.

Wide receiver help is coming

Tony Pauline was the first one to run with this, but several others have chimed in since, and it certainly seems like the Titans are making a play for either wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson or Alec Pierce. The majority of the conversation has been about reuniting Robinson with Brian Daboll in Tennessee, but with Pierce likely to test the market, the Titans will have a chance to chase a big-ticket item.

The most obvious Titans free agent signing

This one is a no-brainer, but John Franklin-Myers feels like he is already on the roster at this point. Sure, something could happen between now and free agency, but all of the buzz from players and insiders is that Franklin-Myers is headed to join Jeffery Simmons and Jermaine Johnson on the defensive line, reuniting him with head coach Robert Saleh.

Help wanted at center

Both Easton Freeze and Paul Kuharsky have reported that the Titans will be aggressive in pursuing a center and have a strong preference to bring in a veteran rather than try out a rookie. Tyler Linderbaum and Connor McGovern are the big names, but will they outbid the rest of the market for them?

Big ticket signing no one is talking about

EDGE, cornerback, and wide receiver get the bulk of the attention when talking about the Titans' needs. Still, Freeze has insisted several times that he believes they are going to swing for the fences on a linebacker. He hasn't mentioned any names, but it is a good crop of free agent linebackers, so if the Titans want to upgrade the position opposite Cedric Gray, they will have the opportunity to do so.

Reunions on the horizon?

Finally, Kuharsky reported at the combine that the Titans were making it a priority to bring back guard Kevin Zeitler and tight end Chig Okonkwo. With no deal done yet, the team doesn't have time on its side. Both would be worth retaining, and it would allow the front office to address different holes in free agency and the draft.
