The Tennessee Titans underwent significant changes this offseason. Robert Saleh is the new head coach, and he hired Brian Daboll as the offensive coordinator. General manager Mike Borgonzi spent a league-high $300+ million in free agency to help flip this roster on its head.
The roster is almost unrecognizable from the one that crawled to its second consecutive 3-14 campaign in 2025. These new-look Titans are attempting to field a competitive squad. That includes a plethora of players entering the final years of their respective contracts.

Which Titans players are ready to step up with contract years in 2026?
Tony Pollard, RB
Tony Pollard is one of two NFL running backs with four straight 1,000 yard seasons. Future Hall of Famer Derrick Henry is the other. Pollard has been totally underappreciated on some terrible Titans squads. The consistent bellcow enters a contract year as the offense's unquestioned No. 1 ball-carrier.
Jermaine Johnson II, EDGE
In need of pass rushers this offseason, the Titans traded out-of-favor nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat to the New York Jets for EDGE Jermaine Johnson II. No extension was done, meaning the Titans are inheriting the final season of Johnson's rookie contract. The former first-round pick once thrived in Coach Saleh's system before suffering a brutal injury in 2023. He'll attempt to prove himself worthy of receiving a long-term investment.
Tyjae Spears, RB
New Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is excited about having Tyjae Spears at his disposal. Recurring injuries have hampered his latest two seasons, but Spears looked healthier and more explosive than ever before at camp this year. Expect the former Tulane standout to play a notable role as a runner and receiver in Brian Daboll's offense. The ex third-rounder is in the fourth and final year of his rookie deal.
Solomon Thomas, DT
Veteran defensive tackle Solomon Thomas is another defender the Titans traded for earlier this offseason partially due to his familiarity with Coach Saleh's scheme. The Titans inherited the second year of the two-year, $6 million contract he previously signed with the Dallas Cowboys. Thomas is also reuniting with defensive line coach Aaron Whitecotton, and believes he's primed for his best pro season yet.
Tony Adams, S
Sensing a theme yet? Safety Tony Adams is the third defender to make this list with a personal connection to Coach Saleh. Adams previously played in the defensive backfield for Saleh's Jets. The experienced secondary player will support starters Amani Hooker and Kevin Winston Jr. He's been an asset to Titans defenders learning this system for the first time.
