You could make the case that the Tennessee Titans have one of the biggest advantages out of any team in the 2026 NFL Draft. They obviously have a top five pick for a reason, but so many things went wrong with the Titans last season, leading to the midseason firing of Brian Callahan. Now, it’s Robert Saleh running the show with a strong coaching staff.

The duo of Saleh and Mike Borgonzi highlights promise for what the Titans can become. There has already been a strong free agent class delivered to Titans fans, especially on defense. While more moves could be made prior to the draft, the big focus is now on the No. 4 overall pick.

They will have an opportunity to take one of the best prospects in this class, especially since the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to draft Fernando Mendoza at No. 1 overall. The good news for the Titans is that they don’t need a quarterback.

So, they have two options; draft a high-end prospect, or trade down and get a nice haul in return. With that, we have put together three trade packages that the Titans shouldn’t refuse for the No. 4 overall pick.

3 trade-down packages Titans would be foolish to turn down

Trade down with Kansas City Chiefs

With Borgonzi having connections with the Kansas City Chiefs, maybe a conversation or two will pop up about the 4th pick. Right now, the Chiefs currently have two first-round selections at No. 9 and No. 29 (via Rams). If the Chiefs are looking to bring in a dynamic player that may not fall to them at 9th overall, the Titans could entice them into parting with a haul of picks.

In this mock draft, the Chiefs send both of their first-round picks as well as a fifth rounder in exchange for No. 4 overall and a sixth rounder.

Trade down with Cincinnati Bengals

This would be the biggest package the Titans could receive! If they exit this draft with a top-10 pick and an additional first rounder next year, Borgonzi would be a huge winner. The Cincinnati Bengals are facing massive pressure to do whatever it takes to win a Super Bowl as long as they have the trio of Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Tee Higgins.

The Bengals send the Titans the 10th overall pick, a third rounder, and their 2027 first round pick to acquire No. 4 and a fifth rounder.

Trade down with Washington Commanders

This mock trade gives the Titans a top seven pick with a bunch of added value. The Commanders had a down year due to injuries, including one to quarterback Jayden Daniels. As he goes into his third season, the Commanders are facing pressure to get back to where they were in 2024 before they have to pay Daniels market value money.

With this proposed trade, the Titans only trade back three spots and yet still get Washington’s third rounder this year as well as a second rounder next year.
