The Tennessee Titans’ big win against the Buffalo Bills helped vault them into the conversation as one of the best teams in the AFC, but it came at a cost.

Over the last week, the Tennessee Titans have suffered two major injuries at cornerback. The scariest long-term injury is 1st round rookie Caleb Farley tearing his ACL in his first NFL start.

Short-term, the bigger concern is the Titans losing Kristian Fulton to short-term I.R. You could make the argument that Fulton was one of the most important Titans’ defenders to this point, right up there with Harold Landry, Jeffery Simmons, Denico Autry, and Kevin Byard.

It is really too late for the Titans to make any moves that will impact the Kansas City Chiefs game this weekend, but that hasn’t stopped the league from buzzing about a potential blockbuster deal that could intrigue Jon Robinson.

Like the Philadelphia Eagles a week ago, it looks like the Miami Dolphins are waving the white flag on the season and they are now focusing on what players, coaches, and assets would set them up for success long-term.

Combining that mentality with Xavien Howard’s discontent with the franchise, and this may be a situation similar to what the Jacksonville Jaguars had with Jalen Ramsey a few years ago.
