Tennessee Titans DB Chris Jackson is officially on the bubble.

If someone told you to name the cornerbacks and safeties that will make the Tennessee Titans’ 53-man roster, who would you name? Janoris Jenkins, Kristian Fulton, Caleb Farley, and Elijah Molden would probably be your cornerbacks. That would leave two available roster positions (and Breon Borders would probably occupy one of those for some of you). Where does that put Chris Jackson then?

Is he a safety? If he is that probably means that he’s battling Chris Jones, Maurice Smith, and Brady Breeze for a roster spot because you’d have to think that Kevin Byard, Amani Hooker, Dane Cruikshank, and Matthias Farley probably end up on this roster with jobs right?

Jackson has a fairly decent resume. He’s appeared in 11 games for the Titans with three starts, and he’s racked up 24 tackles while playing 239 snaps for this team, roughly 21 percent of their regular-season total in 2020.

He has an uphill climb to make this roster, but no one should see the journey as impossible. If he makes this team, don’t be shocked, but don’t be too terribly surprised if he’s left off of the roster.
