Greg Mabin could fall victim to the numbers in the Tennessee Titans’ CB battle.
There are a lot of defensive backs on the Tennessee Titans training camp roster. There are four guys who are listed as DBs: Dane Cruikshank, Amani Hooker, the aforementioned Chris Jackson, and Maurice Smith. There are seven cornerbacks: Greg Mabin, Breon Borders, Caleb Farley, Kristian Fulton, Jackrabbit Jenkins, Elijah Molden, Kevin Peterson.
Tennessee is going to have to leave some talented guys off of this roster, and it won’t be because they can play. It’s going to be because there are only six spots on the cornerbacks depth chart and about four or five available spots at the safety position. Tennessee has four of those on the roster as well.
Greg Mabin entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2017. He’s seen six different rosters. This is actually his second stint with the Titans. He has yet to tally a single defensive statistic for this team, and at the rate things are going. That probably won’t change in 2021.
