David Montgomery, RB

David Montgomery is a running back for the Chicago Bears in just his second season. However, the young running back is one the Titans may have some trouble trying to defend.

Montgomery has yet to break 100 rushing yards in a game this season, but he has come close. David had his best rushing game last week against New Orleans, where he rushed for 89 yards on 21 attempts. That set his season-high in rushing yards, as he also ran for four yards a carry against a defense that has several blue-chip players in their front-seven.

Those numbers are not too shabby, but that is not where the main area of concern should be for the Titans. David Montgomery can also get it done in the passing game.

This season, Montgomery has 27 total receptions on 38 targets. In just half of a season he has already surpassed his numbers from last year which can probably be attributed to the change in quarterback. It isn’t just receptions either, he already has 200 yards through the air and that isn’t something you want to hear when you look at how poorly Rashaan Evans has played this season.

Montgomery can get it done in both areas and can be a useful option for Bears quarterback Nick Foles this Sunday.
