Preview of the Bills and Titans Week 5 matchup

The Tennessee Titans are looking to hit the field for the first time in over two weeks after a long hiatus due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the franchise.

Tennessee will face the surging Buffalo Bills in Nashville at Nissan Stadium on a Tuesday night game at 6:00 P.M. CT on CBS, and that might be the strangest sentence I have ever written.

The undefeated Titans took a massive hit after contacting and spreading the coronavirus throughout the team. With a total of 24 known positive tests now, Tennessee is going to struggle to find a way to get the depth they want at any position much less field an ideal team.

The Bills, led by an upstart Josh Allen under center, also have an undefeated start to the season, sitting atop the AFC East at 4-0. The Bills are coming off two impressive wins against the Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders. Allen, who has been plagued in the past with his spotty play, has looked rejuvenated with a new set of weapons spearheaded by Stefon Diggs.

The Titans will look to take a bigger lead in the division and maintain a stronghold for the top two spots as only three undefeated teams remain in the AFC. A head-to-head win for the Bills or Titans will vault them to the top of the AFC and hold a critical tiebreaker down the stretch.
