2. Derrick Henry, RB

Is El Tractorcito back?

Well, the Vikings defense is god-awful, but still, it looks like Henry is starting to regain his form. Henry finished with 119 yards and 2 TD’s, easily his best game of the year so far. Tannehill went for over 300 yards through the air, but shockingly was held without a TD, making Henry’s contributions all the more valuable.

When Henry is on, the Titans are a hard team to beat and the Vikings got a small glimpse of that in the 4th quarter. Watching the Vikings defense try to close out the game, it was obvious that Henry was wearing them down. These bruising Henry runs are what sets up the deep downfield passes to guys like Kalif Raymond and Jonnu Smith.

It was a sloppy first-half for the offense, but this team goes as Henry goes. When Henry is on, this offense looks much more precise and effective. Henry will have a tough challenge next week against the Steelers, but hopefully, this game is a sign of things to come.
