Another video from Taylor Lewan and Isaiah Wilson

Last week Taylor Lewan took a video of Tennessee Titans 1st round rookie Isaiah Wilson, and since it was such a fan favorite he made a sequel.

In that video, Lewan caught Wilson asleep in the cold tub and the veteran proceeded to make fun of him for sleeping out in the open like that.

Apparently Wilson didn’t care too much because Lewan caught him slipping again today and went all out in pt. 2 of what I am calling his “Sleeping Panda” series.

Perfect timing

It couldn’t have come at a better time either since the initial anger has cooled down from Paul Kuharsky’s report on Friday.

In case you missed that bombshell in the middle of the Friday news dump, Isaiah Wilson was caught at a party on the TSU campus where he allegedly thought about fleeing from in the least imaginable way.

The lede of that story reads:

"Isaiah Wilson attended a party at Tennessee State University off-campus apartments on Heiman Street that drew the attention of university police on Aug. 15, prompting Wilson to ponder jumping off a second-story balcony, according to a campus police incident report."

You should go check it out now if you haven’t.

Hopefully, that is all in the past because when the previous video was filmed I was finally starting to buy in on Wilson as a culture fit with this roster, saying:

"Honestly, the past month or so the personality or Isaiah Wilson mixed with his demeanor on and off the field, has made me a little more bullish on the 1st round pick. Not that Jon Robinson needed my approval, but getting bigger and meaner on the offensive line while keeping the chemistry tight was clearly a goal this offseason."

After Lewan has preached being smart and doing the right thing and Dennis Kelly has become the health and safety officer in the locker room, I expected that the last person to do something stupid like that would be Isaiah Wilson who should be learning from those guys.

All of this has reportedly been dealt with in house, and we have no idea what that even means. Hopefully, this video is a good example of the tough camp that rookies have to go through. If that is true, maybe Wilson will choose to go to sleep instead of going to parties, because right now he is dangerously close to being an issue for the Titans.

It shouldn’t matter too much to the team’s success in 2020, but if Wilson doesn’t do anything on the field this season and part of that goes back to being punished for this behind the scenes, then it could be the first top pick that the Titans have messed up in the Jon Robinson era.
