Second round pick

Obviously, if you have been keeping up with recent rumors, you can guess who this is going to be. The crown jewel of the trade market and the current/next big EDGE…

Yannick Ngakoue, EDGE

Should the Titans be interested: Yes

More from Titan Sized

If it is at all possible, the Tennessee Titans should be throwing this pick at the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for the prolific EDGE. First of all, he is exactly what the Titans wanted to get from Cameron Wake for a season last year, except he is a decade younger.

A speed rusher with a knack for knocking the ball out, Ngakoue is a playmaker that would thrive next to Harold Landry on the other side. Those two would combine for two of the better EDGE benders in the NFL and they are both under 26 years old.

Would it be expensive to sign Ngakoue to a big deal and then follow up with a big deal for Harold Landry in 2021? Sure, but it would be so nice to have two EDGEs who could get double-digit sacks for the first time in a loooonnnnng time.

Again, I think this is a no-go, but maybe the Jaguars are dead set on at least a second round pick and no one will give them that but the Titans? I don’t know, it is such a great fit that I am probably grasping for straws but that shouldn’t make the Titans any less interested (theoretically).
