Pick Analysis. AmikRobertson. player. 2119. Scouting Report. CB. Louisiana Tech. 93

Louisiana Tech CB Amik Robertson is a definite “my guy” in the 2020 NFL Draft. I wrote a more in-depth draft profile on him here, but for now, I’ll give you the cliff notes.

I stayed true to Jon Robinson’s form here and grabbed a small-school kid with something to prove. One of the most prolific ballhawks in the class, Robertson had 14 career interceptions playing outside corner. Undersized, though Robertson plays unaware, the former Bulldog projects as an NFL starter in the slot.

Sticky in man and zone coverages, Robertson is fearless and instantly upgrades your run defense. He’s not afraid to lay the hammer and is violent for a man of his stature. At 5-foot-8 inches tall and 187 pounds, Robertson is a perfect replacement for former CB Logan Ryan.

As it stands right now, saying the Tennessee Titans need a cornerback is almost an understatement. Sure, the top tandem of Malcolm Butler and Adoree Jackson is talented, but behind them is a vacuum of talent left behind by Ryan and Leshaun Sims.

The need and value make Robertson the perfect pick here for the Tennessee Titans.
