4. Greg Joseph kicks a game-winning FG

There have been a lot of ironic circumstances leading up to this game.

The Titans’ head coach could potentially end the dynasty he helped start, and a winter storm named “Henry” is rolling through the New England area on the same day of the game and Derrick Henry‘s 26th birthday.

But how ironic would it be if the Titans were to beat the Patriots with a last-second field goal?

Very.

The Titans kicker situation has been a dumpster fire in 2019. Tennessee owns the worst field goal percentage in the NFL (44.4%) and has seen kickers like Cairo Santos and Ryan Succop fail miserably at their job.

In fact, the best kicker the Titans had all season was none other than Mr. Double Doink himself, Cody Parkey.

Once the Titans put Succop on IR, they signed kicker Greg Joseph to help fill the void. Joseph finally started nailing touchbacks in Week 17 after a slow start in that area, but he has yet to even attempt a field goal during his short tenure in Nashville.

With the game on the line late, Titans fans will collectively groan when the game comes down to a field goal, but Joseph will shock fans and the world when he actually converts a successful field goal for the Titans that wins them the game over the Patriots.
