Head coach Mike Vrabel gave a vague injury update on some of the Tennessee Titans’ key players on Monday.
After missing four key players in the Week 10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel gave a vague update on their statuses on Monday.
Those four key players consist of tight end Delanie Walker (ankle), defensive lineman Jurrell Casey (shoulder), inside linebacker Jayon Brown (groin) and wide receiver Corey Davis (hip).
While Vrabel did say that he expects two of those four players to return this week, he wouldn’t say specifically who they were.
Vrabel: Hopeful to get several injured @Titans players back for @Jaguars game. Should get "half" of the foursome of Delanie Walker, Jurrell Casey, Corey Davis and Jayon Brown back at practice. When asked, he didn't say which half

Despite his coy response, there is reason to believe that those two players are Walker and Casey, first and foremost because last week there was a report that the Titans were “optimistic” that both would be ready to go for Week 12. Davis and Brown were not included in that report.
Another reason we suspect it’s Walker and Casey is because we got more of an update from those two players on Monday than both Davis and Brown.
When speaking to the media, Casey and Walker both sounded optimistic about returning to practice and game action this week, although nothing is certain yet.
Delanie Walker and Jurrell Casey both optimistic about chances of returning to action for @Titans but said a lot hinges on how things go during practice week.

Walker, who has been ruled out the last three games, was wearing a knee brace for added support for his ankle, but also noted that it isn’t a big deal and he won’t be wearing it if he practices.
Delanie Walker is wearing a brace on his left leg. He said it's not a big deal. It's more for when he's walking around. It won't be on during practice and games. https://t.co/byplWIHvNe

As for both Davis and Brown, we didn’t hear anything about them on Monday.
Davis was a surprise addition to the injury report in Week 10, while Brown has been dealing with a groin issue for multiple weeks now. Brown was inactive in Week 7 with the injury, was forced from the game in Week 9 early, and then was inactive once again in Week 10.
The Titans will hope all four players can return for an important matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, however right now it appears Casey and Walker are the only solid bets to do so.
We’ll know more on Wednesday when the first injury report is released.
