Another potential QB emerges for the Tennessee Titans.

Since the Tennessee Titans will be moving on from Marcus Mariota this offseason, they have been connected to several QBs by one way or another.

So now in addition to Tannehill, names like Tom Brady, Philip Rivers and Cam Newton have all come up in recent talks as the Titans future bridge quarterback.

While some are more believable than others, it seems like Rivers may be the strongest candidate to join Tennessee this offseason at least if you ask Matt Miller:

"Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers will be a free agent when the season ends; where will the then-38-year-old-land? One rumor making its way through league circles is that Rivers would love to play for the Tennessee Titans.A native of Decatur, Alabama—just under two hours south of Nashville—Rivers has always been rumored to want to move closer to the South to end his career. With things in Los Angeles not going well for the Chargers, keep this destination in mind if Rivers isn’t franchise-tagged this offseason."

I think Tennessee would obviously be interested in bringing him in if they could.

Rivers is probably having the worst year of his career, but he hasn’t played a true home game since 2017 when the Chargers were still in L.A. and he is behind an offensive line that seems to not really care whether he lives or dies.

If the Chargers and Rivers agree to part ways, the Titans have the location, money and the team around him that would make the partnership work.

A three-year deal would give both parties options and it allows you to win now and really groom a high level rookie QB until he is ready to play.

Going forward I would be very curious to see exactly how this shakes out for the Chargers and if the rumors are true I would look for Rivers to have a heavy input in an offense that has been rudderless for a long time.
